As part of the Italian Royal Experience project, the new guided tour programme "Storie a Corte" (Stories at Court) is launching a series of tourist and themed itineraries dedicated to the circuit of the UNESCO-listed Royal Residences of the House of Savoy and the regions in which they are located..
Palaces, castles, villas, parks and gardens
The project is a new way to discover the Savoy heritage: not merely as a cultural visit, but as an immersive experience that combines historical narrative, landscape, art, gastronomy, cinema and local identity. The tours will take individual visitors, groups and tour operators on a journey of discovery through palaces, castles, villas, parks and gardens that have shaped the history of Piedmont and Italy, showcasing the network of Savoy Royal Residences as a true “Crown of Delights” waiting to be explored.
40 guided itineraries from June 27 to Devember
The tours of Storie a Corte are scheduled to begin on Saturday 27 June 2026, with a programme running until December 2027. A total of 40 guided itineraries will be offered, divided into various thematic strands and designed for both Italian and international audiences, with tours also available in English and French. Somewhere Tours & Events, a Turin-based company with over 27 years’ experience in incoming, cultural and experiential tourism in Turin and Piedmont, will be responsible for the operational organization of the tours.
The meeting point is in the heart of Turin
The programme of guided tours includes half-day tours, either on foot or by coach, and full-day tours by coach. The half-day tours include a tasting session or the ‘Merenda Reale’, whilst the full-day tours include lunch. Some routes will be partially accessible to visitors with mobility impairments.
