From the Renaissance to the 19th century its inhabitants made no secret of their love for entertainment, dance and opera, or for their more than 100 theatres of international repute. Italia in Scena brings you on a unique journey into the land of Raphael and Rossini, including exclusive visits to historic theatres and with private concerts and tastings of local foods and wines.

Visit the historical Teatro Tiberini, Apollo, Sanzio, Bramante 
Private Concerts – Two concerts and one extraordinary Paint Theatre performance. Urbino – Visit the Palazzo Ducale, home of the painting “La Città Ideale.” 

Programme: 

Day 1 – Arrival in Pesaro by own means. Accommodation at Grand Hotel Vittoria 5*. In the afternoon guided tour of the Museo Nazionale Rossini, the Duomo and the Synagogue. Dinner in a selected restaurant with a menu inspired by Rossini. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 2 – San Lorenzo in Campo / Mondavio   
Breakfast. Departure for San Lorenzo in Campo. Visit the Abbazia Benedettina and the Teatro Tiberini (exclusive opening) with a private concert. 

IL BEL CANTO ITALIANO - International Opera Studio – private concert with music by Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Vincenzo Bellini and Giuseppe Verdi Tasting lunch in a Farroteca (specialized in farro-based dishes). In the afternoon visit the Rocca Roveresca and the Teatro Apollo in Mondavio. Visit a winery with a tasting of local wine and products. Return to Pesaro. Dinner not included. 

Day 3 – Pesaro / Urbino / Urbania
 Breakfast. Departure for Urbino, visit the Palazzo Ducale and the Teatro Sanzio.  Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Teatro Bramante in Urbania 

CONCERT FOR HARPSICHORD AND VOICE 

Music: N. Vaccaj, G. Crescentini – chamber and didactic arias 

Afterwards an extraordinary Paint Theatre performance by Giuliano Del Sorbo with the Guglielmo Tell ouverture by Gioachino Rossini. Visit a local pottery lab. Return to Pesaro. Dinner not included. 

Day 4 – Pesaro and departure
  Breakfast and check-out. In the morning short walk and visit the Teatro Rossini with backstage tour. Farewell and departure by own means.
