Tour of the 3 gems of Northern Sardinia

Day 1
Alghero – arrival at Alghero airport, private transfer to the hotel. Free time at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2
Alghero - Capo Caccia and caves. Afer breakfast depart for Capo Caccia with a private driver and a private guide. At the top of the promontory, 180 metres asl with breathtaking views over the area, stands one of the most important lighthouses in the Mediterranean, famed for the range of its light. Capo Caccia’s famous Nettuno Caves can e reached by climbing down the 600 Escala del Cabirol steps to the sea. After the visit and having climbed back up the 600 steps, return to Alghero. For those who do not want to climb the steps, the visit can also be organized by boat, departing Alghero harbor. Return to Alghero at noon. In the afternoon, guided walking tour of the historical centre of Alghero.

Day 3
Bosa - After breakfast depart for Bosa with the private driver and guide. The charming town of Bosa is among the most beautiful in Sardinia, with the river Temo flowing through it and mirroring the multi-hued houses in its waters. The 12^th-century Malaspina Castle dominates the town from the top of the Serravalle hill and from here you will enjoy the spectacular view of the green hills and the river flowing down to the sea. Time at leisure or for a stroll in the narrow streets of the historical centre. In the evening return to Alghero.

Day 4
Vineyards and wine tasting.

Morning at leisure for shopping and relaxation. In the afternoon transfer to the wine resort to visit   the vineyards and  taste the local wines and products. The owner will tell you the history of the vineyard and the olive groves. In the evening return to Alghero.

Day 5
Castelsardo

Breakfast and departure for the north coast to visit Castelsardo. Together with Alghero and Bosa, the town of Castelsardo is one of the loveliest in Sardinia. Perched on a promontory overlooking the sea towards  Corsica, the town was founded around the medieval Doria Castle which dominates the Asinara Gulf. The morning is dedicated to a visit of the Castel with its museum, the Cathedraland  to old churches and buildings. There is then time at leisure to explore panoramic trails or to take a stroll through the narrow streets with their craft shops. In the evening return to Alghero.

Day 6
Alghero

Breakfast at the Hotel and, according to the flight schedules, transfer to the airport.
