A spectacular cycling vacation from the beautiful Valtellina valley to the multifaceted Milan of the Navigli canals. The best price for 2 participants for 8 days.

Day 1: Tirano

Individual arrival and accommodation in the hotel. Free time to stroll along the town’s historic streets with intriguing traces of days long past. Along a tree-lined avenue you come to the historic center and some beautiful buildings in Art Nouveau style. Tirano will not disappoint wine and food lovers, and the imposing terraces surrounding it offer breathtaking views, while the vineyards give viditors a taste of the territory in a glass!

Day 2: Tirano - St. Moritz - Tirano (Bernina Red Train)

Today means crossing the Alps, which is a unique experience from Tirano to St. Moritz and return in the evening on the famous Bernina Red Train. You will enjoy the breathtaking views from Thusis to Tirano and the peaks of the Ospizio Bernina. This railway is a World Heritage Site, a true masterpiece of civil engineering, a front-row seat from which to admire the fascinating spectacle of nature. The railway line, harmoniously inserted in the mountain setting, crosses 55 tunnels, 196 viaducts and easily overcomes steep slopes!

Day 3: Tirano - Colico (76 Km)

The first ride downhill skirts the river Adda, and then crosses the Valtellina. After passing the small village of Teglio you come to Sondrio, one of the smallest of the Italian provincial capitals. The day continues towards Morbegno, past the splendid Baroque Collegiate Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Ganda Bridge, one of the symbols of the city with its striking architectural lines. To satisfy your palate try the Bitto, a typical local Valtellina cheese and an important ingredient in the preparation of pizzoccheri. Overnight stay in Colico.

Day 4: Circular tour from Colico (13 or 34 Km)

Starting from Colico, north of Lake Como, you can visit the various places of interest in the area. There are different routes to choose from: riding into the hills and visiting Del Montecchio, or the Forte Fuentes, or biking to the lakefront to enjoy some water sports, or cycling to Lake Mezzola or to Chiavenna in the centre of the valley with the possibility of returning by train (not included).

Day 5: Colico - Bellagio - Lecco (20 Km + boat)

In the morning you will take the boat across the lake to admire the beautiful natural landscape and arrive in Bellagio, known as the pearl of Lake Como. In the late afternoon you will tke another boat for Lecco which is nestled between the lake and the picturesque mountains. You can take a walk along the lake shores, or discover one of the Manzoni itineraries, visiting places that tradition has it appear in his masterpiece The Betrothed. In the historic center you can see the remains of the 14th-century walls, the ancient Market Square and Theatre Square, as well as the Basilica of St. Nicholas with its high bell tower overlooking the ancient port.

Day 6: Lecco - Trezzo sull'Adda (36 Km)

Today’s ride will be on a partly unpaved and slightly downhill trail along the Adda river. This itinerary is set in a truly fabulous landscape with monasteries and enchanting views that recall the background landscape of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Between Vaprio and Trezzo you can  visit the historical village of Crespi d'Adda, dating back to the late 19th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 7: Trezzo sull'Adda - Milan (40 Km)

Today is the last ride, along the famous Martesana bike path, flanking a navigable canal that was completed in 1496. You will admire old mansions, mills, churches, factories and washhouses. Little by little the countryside will give way to the city and entering Milan from the north you will arrive at your hotel.
