Day 1: Milan

Individual arrival at the hotel in Milan and briefing. Delivery of information material and bicycles (if rented). Overnight stay in Milan.

Day 2: Milan - Abbiategrasso - Pavia (56 km)

The bike route starts from Milan along the last stretch of the Naviglio Grande, which is the oldest canal in the city, passing navigation locks. In Abbiategrasso do not miss a visit to the Annunciata Convent, the castle and the picturesque streets of the historic centre. The route continues south along the Naviglio Bereguardo bike path, where you can admire the historic pontoon bridge. The Cistercian Abbey of Morimondo is a good place to stop before reaching the city of Pavia and the last stretch of the Ticino River.

Overnight stay in Pavia.

Day 3: Pavia and surroundings (35 km)

Today you will discover Pavia, a city to be discovered slowly with its medieval streets, imposing cathedral and the Visconti Castle. Following a circular bike path you come to the Po, Italy’s longest river which crosses practically the entire north of the country from Piedmont to the Adriatic Sea. Obviously you will ride only a short stretch of it and then return to Pavia.

Overnight stay in Pavia.

Day 4: Pavia - Milan (32 km)

More time to see the historic center of Pavia. The bike path begins along the Via Verde della Battaglia green belt that connects the monumental Pavia charterhouse, a sanctuary and monastery of uncommon beauty, to the center of the city. Pedaling along the Naviglio Pavese, we return to Milan.

Overnight stay in Milan.

Day 5: Milan - Trezzo d'Adda (40 km)

You will take the bike path of the Martesana canal, passing through a series of villages with ancient villas and towers, farmhouses, castles and traces of the work of Leonardo Da Vinci. Just before arriving in Trezzo, the final destination of the day, on the opposite bank of the Adda River, we pass the village of Crespi d’Adda.

Overnight stay in Trezzo d'Adda.

Day 6: Trezzo d'Adda - Lecco (36 km)

In Trezzo, in addition to the beautiful old town, you can admire the ancient Visconti Castle, its walls and the tower from which you can enjoy an unexpected view of the Adda river and the Bergamo Prealps. The bike path to Lecco descends to the Adda skirting the Taccani hydroelectric power plant. The itinerary continues north past historic hydroelectric plants, the rapids of the Adda and small dams, arriving in Imbersago. In the Leonardo Ecomuseum you can admire a ferry which is still in working order. On the way to Lecco there are several places to stop like Brivio or near the two lakes.

Overnight stay in Lecco.

Day 7: Lecco
