4 DAYS - 3 NIGHTS 4-STAR HOTEL

1st day

Before arriving at the hotel stop for a private visit to the Garden of Ninfa on one of the days it is closed to the public. This is a special way to discover its charms – see the reduction for public visits at the bottom of the program

The visit lasts about an hour and 30 minutes. The entrance fee includes the mandatory assistance of garden guides.

Lunch: free time at one’s disposal with stops at the refreshment area in the Garden of Ninfa and at a farmhouse in the area

At the end of the visit, transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, time in the hotel’s wellness center or a welcome drink with typical products can be programmed for a supplement.

Dinner in the hotel in the typical fraschetta, a rustic restaurant serving local products according to ancient traditions.

2nd day

Full day Tivoli and its Villas

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Tivoli.

Morning dedicated to visiting Hadrian's Villa on your own – ticket included

Lunch: free time at one’s disposal

Afternoon Park of Villa Gregoriana  and Villa d’Este on your own – ticket included

Return to the hotel. Dinner in the hotel’s main restaurant and overnight stay.

3rd day

Full Day Anagni - Casamari

Anagni historical center and  the Cathedral of Santa Maria

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Casamari Abbey, undoubtedly one of the most stylistically significant abbeys in Italy. Visit on your own.

Lunch: free time at one’s disposal

In the afternoon visit to the city of Anagni and its wonderful cathedral on your own - entrance ticket included

• The town of Anagni is famous for the "slap" of 1303 that forced Pope Boniface VIII to step down in the fight for supremacy over the French king Philip IV. Anagni is a beautiful town with a fascinating history. Visit to the historic center to discover its most important architectural features including the Palace of Boniface VIII, the medieval Barnekow House which is still perfectly preserved and many other buildings and monuments that bring us back into history.
• One of the most interesting visits is to the Cathedral of Santa Maria where we will see the crypt decorated with frescoes (1104 - 1255) depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. The colors, the state of conservation and the iconography are so amazing that it is known as the Sistine Chapel of the Middle Ages.

In the evening return to the hotel and free time before dinner at the Borgo di Fossanova. In this village there is just one restaurant with typical local cuisine and if the weather permits, you can also dine in the garden overlooking the beautiful abbey.

4th day

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the small village of Sermoneta. Visi the medieval village on your own and then the Caetani Castle (depending on seasonal openings which have not yet been published)

Lunch: free time at one’s disposal. It is possible to book tables in a restaurant on Sermoneta’s square where you can enjoy a la carte dishes with typical products.

After lunch we recommend a stop for photos at the beautiful Abbey of Valvisciolo, from where you can see the whole Agro Pontino, as well as the Abbey and the internal cloister where the monks still produce local products such as honey and herbal liqueurs.
