Jet2 will open a new base at London Gatwick Airport, where it will position six aircraft serving a network of 29 routes from the 2026 summer season.
With the addition of Gatwick Jet2 has 14 bases
From Gatwick, Jet2's network will focus on major leisure destinations in the Mediterranean, with the first route, starting 26 March, to be operated to Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. The choice of Gatwick brings the number of the airline's bases to 14. Presently Gatwick’s main carrier is easyJet that, with around 44% of the passengers handled compared to the airport's total. Wizz Air also has a base at Gatwick. According to Jet2.com, five Airbus A321neo aircraft will be among the based aircraft.
Flights from Gatwick to Naples and Verona
