THE PROGRAMME

Thursday, November 12 – ARRIVAL IN PALERMO

Arrival of participants at Palermo Airport before 5.00 pm.

Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Welcome dinner and introduction to the destination.

Overnight stay in Palermo.

Friday, November 13 – PALERMO’S ARAB-NORMAN HERITAGE

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 8.30 am, meeting point and departure for a full day dedicated to discovering Palermo’s extraordinary Arab-Norman heritage, accompanied by a local guide.

The day will include some of the city's most important landmarks, including the Palatine Chapel, Palermo Cathedral and Piazza Pretoria, famous for its magnificent Carrara marble fountain decorated with mythological allegories.

We will continue to Quattro Canti, also known as Piazza Vigliena, one of Palermo's most iconic Baroque landmarks.

The itinerary will then continue with the Norman Church of La Martorana (exterior), also known as Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio, followed by the Church of Santa Caterina (exterior).

The experience continues through La Vucciria and Ballarò markets, discovering the colours, aromas and flavours of Palermo's authentic street-food culture.

Dinner and overnight stay in Palermo.

Saturday, November 14 – B2B MEETINGS & TEATRO MASSIMO

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 9.00 am, departure for the Cruise Terminal.

From 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, dedicated B2B meetings with local tourism professionals, followed by lunch.

The afternoon will be dedicated to further discovering Palermo, with a visit to the Teatro Massimo, one of the largest opera houses in Europe and one of the city's most important cultural landmarks.

Free time.

Dinner and overnight stay in Palermo.

Sunday, November 15 – B2B MEETINGS & THE SOUL OF LA KALSA

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 9.00 am, departure for the Cruise Terminal.

From 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, second session of B2B meetings with local tourism professionals, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, we will explore the heart of La Kalsa, one of Palermo's most fascinating historic districts.

The itinerary begins at Piazza Marina and continues towards Piazza Magione, through picturesque alleyways, vibrant street art, historic workshops and traditional artisan activities.

A journey through iconic landmarks and lesser-known corners of Palermo, where art, history, tradition and local flavours come together.

Dinner and overnight stay in Palermo.

Monday, November 16 – DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Palermo Airport.

Departures are possible after 9.00 am.

End of the Educational Tour.

Participants are expected to arrive at Palermo Airport on November 12 before 5.00 pm.

The return journey will take place on November 16 after 9.00 am, with departures possible from Palermo Airport.
