Olm Nature Escape in South Tyrol's Aurina Valley has been honoured for its “innovative vision.”

A member of Ecoluxury Retreats of the World

Olm Nature Escape, an eco-aparthotel in South Tyrol, has been built in harmony with nature. A circle of glass and larch wood that seems to be part of the Aurina Valley, known as “the valley of a thousand possibilities” due to its extraordinary variety of landscapes and its 80 peaks exceeding 3,000 metres. Since opening, the property has been certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and has joined the Ecoluxury Retreats of the World collection.

The resort has just 41 ApartSuites

41 ApartSuites, built according to the principles of bio-architecture, welcome those seeking a retreat that is out of the ordinary. Larch wood clads the surfaces and floors, whilst natural materials create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Twenty-five of the ApartSuites feature a private Finnish sauna, and at the centre of the circular complex, a natural pond enhances a garden left deliberately wild. The Eco Spa offers interconnected indoor and outdoor pools.

A choice of dining opportunities

The Prenn restaurant, h belmedy chef Berni Aichner, follows the Slow Food philosophy of ‘good, clean and fair’, reinterpreting South Tyrolean tradition with contemporary creativity. Olm allows guests to experience culinary freedom in all its forms: you can dine at the Prenn restaurant, eat in your own ApartSuite by cooking in the kitchenette (there is also a small shop stocked with high-quality produce), or discover the many excellent restaurants and mountain huts in the surrounding area. Breakfast, included in your stay, features local and regional produce with a high organic content. Dinner features exclusive, reservation-only evenings with a variety of options.

South Tyrol's hotel of the year for Gault Millau

In 2026, Olm Nature Escape was awarded the title "Hotel of the Year 2026 in South Tyrol" by the Gault Millau guide. This accolade recognizes the innovative vision that permeates the property, celebrating an approach to hospitality that follows the rhythms of nature. This philosophy was further cemented by the property’s inclusion in Vitalpina Hotels South Tyrol, the network of certified properties that promote authentic wellbeing through exercise, mindful eating and environmental protection.

Oleificio Cericola, one of the most recognized names in the production of high-quality Apulian and Italian olive oil and brings "A Land of Experiences" to Foggia.

Puglia posted 6.7 million arrivals in 2025

With over 6.7 million visitor arrivals and 22.7 million overnight stays recorded in 2025, Puglia remains one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. The figures highlight significant growth in international demand and confirm an increasingly established trend: travellers choose the region not only for its natural and cultural heritage, but also to enjoy experiences that reveal its deepest identity.

Quality olive oil for regional promotion

There is growing demand from overseas markets for authentic food, wine and cultural itineraries that connect visitors with the identity of local areas, and food and wine remain one of Puglia's main promotional tools, with a growing focus on dining rooted in local traditions and short supply chains.  Oleificio Cericola is one of the most highly regarded producers of Apulian and Italian olive oil, thanks to expertise honed over time and deeply rooted in the region’s production traditions. The company serves as a benchmark not only for the quality of its extra virgin olive oil, but also for its ability to transform its operations into a structured experience centered on understanding and promoting the region.

The event was held in Foggia on 11 June

The significance of this model is also evident in its engagement with international markets. This is demonstrated by Oleificio Cericola’s participation in the "Italian Food and Feed CIIE 2026 Promotion – Apulian Agri-food Excellence" event, held in Foggia on 11 June, which saw a Chinese delegation visit the Apulian region.  The commitment to opening up to foreign markets and engaging with the sector’s key trends is further confirmed by the company's recent participation in the World Olive Growing Congress in Córdoba, one of the leading international events dedicated to the olive oil sector. The Puglia experience is a source of mutual development: for the visitor, who comes into direct contact with the culture of olive oil, for the company, which consolidates its role in food and wine tourism; and for the local area, which strengthens its ability to position itself through its outstanding local produce.

Villa Ines, the new residence by Augustus Hotel & Resort, opens its doors in Forte dei Marmi.

Every stay is an immersive experience

More than just a villa, Villa Ines is a story of atmosphere. It is a place that reinterprets the charm of historic Italian holiday homes with contemporary sensibility. With this new opening Augustus Hotel & Resort continues its journey to enhance its architectural heritage, following the renovation of Villa Radici in 2025, consolidating a vision that places the authenticity of the locations at its heart and the ability to transform every stay into an immersive experience. Villa Ines is the result of a fusion between the architectural style of Mediterranean 1950s and 1960s homes and a contemporary design approach with attention to detail, materials and the quality of living.

The relaxed charm of an Italian holiday villa

Set within the lush gardens of Villa Radici, Villa Ines has a light-filled living area on the ground floor that interacts with the outdoor spaces, whilst the bedroom is situated on the upper floor. A minimalist yet refined layout where every room has been designed to interact with the light and the coastal landscape. In the sleeping area, large decorative headboards, botanical textile panels and geometrically patterned floors evoke the relaxed charm of historic Italian holiday villas, while in the living areas the interiors open out onto the veranda and the garden.

"Deeply rooted in nature and history"

"Villa Ines is a new milestone in the evolution of Augustus Hotel & Resort and our concept of hospitality: a new way of experiencing a holiday, where the privacy and freedom of a private villa blend with the excellence, services and personalized attention of a five-star hotel,- says Giacomo Maschietto, CEO of Augustus Hotel & Resort. -We wanted to create a residence that captures the most authentic character of Forte dei Marmi: refined yet never ostentatious, elegant yet deeply rooted in nature, history and the culture of Italian holidays.”

Puglia promotes itself at the airport with the Puglia Wall.

A large outdoor digital display

Puglia Wall is a large digital display that promotes regional municipalities at Bari Airport, the region’s main gateway for tourists arriving from abroad. The display on which visitors can admire Puglia’s landscapes, traditions and stories, will subsequently be extended to other airports in Puglia. The aim is to offer local councils an innovative tool to showcase their identity to an international audience, such as the thousands of passengers who pass through the airports every day.

Stories showcase the region

Installed outside Bari Airport, the Puglia Wall is one of the largest digital displays in Italy, a veritable window onto Puglia, designed to transform the wait for a flight or arrival at the airport into a discovery of the region. Stories showcase the charm of its historic centres, the richness of Puglia's cultural heritage, its landscapes, traditions and the distinctive features that make every corner of the region unique.

"A rich tapestry of history, culture, landscapes"

Puglia Antonio Maria Vasile Presidente AdP 3Antonio Maria Vasile
“Puglia is much more than just a tourist destination,- said Antonio Maria Vasile, President of Aeroporti di Puglia. -It is a rich tapestry of history, culture, landscapes and people that help make it one of the most beloved and recognizable regions in Italy. With the Puglia Wall, we want to offer all local councils the chance to play a leading role in a great collective narrative that promotes our region and sparks travellers’ curiosity and desire to discover areas that are still relatively unknown. Through this initiative, AdP renews its commitment to supporting the growth and promotion of the region. The invitation to mayors, therefore, is not to miss out on this great opportunity and to respond in large numbers to this call, because together we can achieve better results.”

"A tool for enhancing and promoting a region"

Raffaele Piemontese, regional councillor for infrastructure and mobility added: “This is a concrete example of how infrastructure can become a tool for enhancing and promoting a region. Thanks to this project, airports become an extraordinary showcase for local identity, traditions and cultural heritage.”

Uve Rooms & Wine Bar is the perfect choice for a relaxing slow holiday in Piedmont.

A place for slow tourism

The most accurate definition of slow tourism is not slowness in itself, but the absence of haste - that pleasant feeling that there is nothing urgent to do, no looming deadline, no pressing goal to achieve. This is the atmosphere you’ll find in the Langhe, and places such as Uve Rooms & Wine Bar in La Morra, in the province of Cuneo, capture its very essence.

A Relais with just eight rooms and suites

This refined, charming Relais in what was once an ancient convent, opens its doors to guests, welcoming them into the cloister, which is now transformed into a courtyard garden, and into the eight rooms and suites overlooking it, as well as into the wine bar and restaurant that indulge the palate with gourmet dishes and fine wines. The sense of calm, peace and serenity here feels so natural that it is immediately apparent, just as it is in the stone-paved alleyways of the village of La Morra.

Saturday and Sunday walking tours

Just 16 kilometres from Uve Rooms & Wine Bar the town of Alba can be reached in a quarter of an hour by car or comfortably by electric bike, through vineyards stretching across the hills. Alba is a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, and you can take a walking tour of the most important buildings in Roman-era centre, from the Cathedral of San Lorenzo to the Romanesque-Gothic church of San Domenico and the Baroque complex of the Church of the Maddalena. You’ll stroll along Via Cavour, past the Loggia dei Mercanti, through Piazza Pertinace and its Roman excavations, all the way to the Church of San Giovanni.  The tours take place on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings from April to August, led by a bilingual guide in Italian and English, and are fully accessible and pet-friendly (with the exception of places of worship.)
