Additionally, there will be increased frequencies on 11 routes, supporting over 2,000 jobs in the region.
Ryanair now operates on 29 airports in Italy
This winter Ryanair will have two aircraft based in Treviso, aiming to transport 2.5 million passengers in the 2024 fiscal year, marking a 6% growth compared to the previous year. “The route from Treviso to London was the first operated by Ryanair in Italy in May 1998,- says Mauro Bolla, Ryanair's head of communication for Albania, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Romania. - We are pleased to reinstate this route and so are local businesses. Since 1998 Ryanair has grown, and now flies to and from 29 airports across Italy, 17 of which are bases, and we have carried some 500 million passengers to and from Italy.”
“Excellent results from the partnership with Ryanair”
“Connecting Treviso with London is a great return for our city, many people from Veneto and Treviso live and work in London,- added the mayor of Treviso, Mario Conte. – To see more fights on our airport is another important signal, following the excellent results from the partnership with Ryanair and the Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco Doc.”
