The new hotel that will be built inside the Fieramilano Rho exhibition centre will be a Novotel managed by Amapa.

Amapa currently manages 22 hotels in Italy

The Italian white label Amapa currently manages 22 hotels (seven of which it owns) throughout Italy for a total of some 2,820 rooms, and there are another 14 new openings planned in the pipeline over the next few years.

The new 4-star will have restaurants and meeting rooms

The hotel - which will occupy the former offices of Fiera Milano Spa - will be a 4-star with more than 260 rooms and services including restaurants, meeting rooms, a gym, etc. This operation is part of Amapa’s plan to develop its real estate assets by completing the range of services within the exhibition centre, making it even more functional and competitive on the Italian and European exhibition scene.

The new asset is getting strong interest from investors
"We are extremely pleased to have assisted Fondazione Fiera Milano in another important hotel development operation – says Dario Leone, head of hospitality & leisure of Savills Italy. -Then there is the hotel being built in Viale Scarampo in the area adjacent to the MiCo Congress Centre and the CityLife district, which will contribute strategically to implementing the range of services within one of the main European exhibition centres and the most important in Italy. The project has registered strong interest both from operators wishing to consolidate their presence in Milan and others looking for new opportunities to establish themselves in one of Italy's leading tourist markets."
