Palermo is defined by its monuments, ancient buildings, historic quarters, elegant villas, lush gardens, and vibrant markets brimming daily with fresh fruit, vegetables, and fish.

THE PROGRAMME

Thursday,
November 13 2025 

Arrival of the participants at Palermo airport and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Palermo.

Friday, November 14 2025 

Breakfast at the hotel. A day immersed in Palermo’s Arab-Norman heritage, exploring its monuments in the company of a local guide. We will visit the main monuments including the Palatine Chapel, Palermo’s Cathedral, the famous Piazza Pretoria with its large white Carrara marble allegorical fountain, the Quattro Canti or Piazza Vigliena, named in honour of the viceroy in office when the four Baroque palaces at the intersection of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda were completed, the Norman Martorana Church, also called Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio, which was built in 1143 by Giorgio di Antiochia, and the Church of Santa Caterina. Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner at Corvo Vini Duca di Salaparuta near Palermo where the linear, contemporary architecture blends with the history and charm of the cellars. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Saturday, November 15 2025 

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Monte Pellegrino where we will visit the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, the patron saint of Palermo. From here, we will enjoy a spectacular view over the bay of Palermo, followed by a visit to the Palazzina Cinese, an ancient royal residence of the Bourbons dynasty. Visit to the Pitrè Museum and then to the seaside resort of Mondello. Lunch at a local restaurant with typical Sicilian products. Departure for the first day of B2B. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Palermo.

Sunday, November 16 2025 

Breakfast at the hotel and back to the B2B. In the afternoon the tour continues in Palermo with the Teatro Massimo - one of the largest theatres in Europe - including a guided visit. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Palermo.

Monday, November 17 2025 

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Palermo airport.
