Emma Villas’ 2026 roadshow is coming to Sicily, with events in Catania and Palermo.

Designed to bring together the owners of the properties in the company’s portfolio and potential new clients, the workshops will underscore Sicily for luxury holiday rentals. According to Emma Villas data, Sicily has seen a 6% increase in weeks booked for the 2026 season compared to 2025, as well as a 3% rise in the number of bookings. The average length of stay is also increasing, and currently stands at 7.62 nights, a sign that demand is increasingly focused on immersive experiences and longer stays. Emma Villas currently has 58 properties in its portfolio across the island.

Germany is now the leading source market
Among foreign visitors to Sicily, Germany is now the leading source market, accounting for 74% of international visitors to the island, followed by the Netherlands (8%) and the United States (7%), the latter showing a decline compared to last year. This figure reflects a new balance in international tourism, with a growing focus on nearby destinations that are easily accessible, perceived as safe and that offer high standards of quality. At the same time, demand from Italian travellers is also strengthening: for the 2026 season, bookings by Italians show an increase of +9.5% over 2025, confirming the growing interest in villa holidays from the domestic market.
