Followed by a visit to admire the Palazzo Farnese which in Puccini’s opera is the setting for Baron Scarpia’s plots to thwart the lovers Tosca and Cavaradossi, while not far away the impressive Castel Sant'Angelo, now a museum, is the setting for the last dramatic act of the great opera.
