A new way to enjoy summer at Montepulciano’s wineries is to join a Wine Night with tastings.
Wine, Chianina beef, and also a vegetarian option
Every Friday in July, from 6.30 pm to 10 pm, the new way to enjoy summer is at Montepulciano’s wineries, with the Wine Nights. With a programme of outdoor events, wine tastings, Chianina beef and a relaxed atmosphere to share with friends, amongst the vineyards at sunset, these can be booked online. The entrance fee, to be paid at the winery, is €10 per person, which includes a wine glass, glass holder and the first wine tasting and, for those who already have the event’s wine glass, the entrance fee will be €7. The evening is a chance to enjoy grilled Chianina beef prepared by the Amici della Chianina (there is also a vegetarian alternative) and taste the winery’s wines, available by the glass or by the bottle.

These are the venues: Friday 10 July Icario, Friday 17 July Fattoria del Cerro Friday 24 July Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano, and Friday 31 July Salcheto. Whether the evenings go ahead depends on the weather conditions at the time.
