On September 13 and 14, the beach at Punta Marina di Ravenna will transform into a sanctuary of well-being with the Kalemana Experience Festival.

A sensory journey with music, yoga, art, and holistic workshops

This is one of Italy’s most anticipated events for natural wellness and will be held at the scenic Club del Sole. The festival offers two full days immersed in nature, far from the noise and stress of everyday life. With music, yoga, art, and holistic workshops, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with oneself, body, mind, and spirit. The highlight of this sensory journey will be a cocoa ritual, led by Fabio Bertagnolo, founder of Accademia Sol, which is a leading Italian holistic naturopathy school.

“Ancient rites that help us return to our origins”

Based on ancient Maya and Aztec traditions, the ritual transforms cacao (the raw cocoa bean) into a sacred tool for healing and spiritual awakening. “The fire, the cocoa, the sea, it all adds up to helping us shed what we no longer need, and rediscover our creative essence,- says Bertagnolo. -All too often we forget that we are part of nature. These ancient rites help us return to our origins.”

Kalemana

The Kalemana Festival is a complete experience

“It’s important to say that the ritual is not about chocolate. Ceremonial cacao keeps its natural compounds intact, the magnesium and the bromine antioxidants bringing clarity, vitality, and emotional release.” Kalemana Festival offers a complete experience, with support from the Yoga Academy and We Are Marketers, it also consists of workshops in yoga, aerial silks, massage, SUP, and more.

Reconnecting with the sacred essence of life

In the experience areas, small-group sessions will focus on deep connection and Accademia Sol will offer holistic naturopathy and reflexology treatments. So for all those who are seeking transformation, inspiration, or a moment of peace, the cocoa ritual atthe Kalemana Experience Festival can open up exciting new horizons and lead to a reconnection with the sacred essence of life. 370,000 passengers in the first year

This is a highly symbolic and strategic choice, which aims to enhance an area of extraordinary scenic and cultural beauty. The formalization of the new name was an opportunity to take stock of the first year of activity, which closed with 370,000 passengers handled, marking the birth of the Campania airport system managed by a single entity in an integrated and complementary system logic.

Salerno cilento

Work continues on the runway and the terminal

This model made it possible to develop an impressive infrastructure investment plan and, at the same time, a significant network of connections, thanks to know-how in airport management and consolidated partnerships with airlines already present in Naples. The first phase of development involved investments of some €80 million, out of a planned total of €223 million. The main works completed and underway include: the extension of the runway, the general aviation terminal that will be completed by the end of the year, the extension of the fire station and work on the existing terminal, car parks and roads. At the same time, intensive dialogue with the airlines was carried out with the aim of offering a competitive and attractive network of flights.

Flights from 16 destinations

Thanks to solid relations with carriers, built up over the years at Naples Capodichino Airport, Salerno airport currently offers 16 direct destinations, 13 of which are international (Bergamo, Turin, Milan, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels Charleroi, Bucharest, Geneva, Lyon, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Marseilles, Nantes, Paris Orly, Tirana and Vienna). The routes are served by the main European low-cost carriers (easyJet, Ryanair, Volotea, Wizz Air) and British Airways.

The Cilento is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

The Cilento region, located between the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Policastro, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a cultural landscape of extraordinary value, bearing witness to settlements dating back 250,000 years. The National Park (which includes the Paestum archaeological site) has also become a UNESCO Mab Biosphere Reserve area and has been included in the UNESCO Geoparks network, thanks to its beautiful and numerous karstic caves. The Charterhouse of Padula, on the Vallo di Diano plateau, represents the largest monastic complex in southern Italy and is rich in artistic treasures.

The Lazio region in the centre of Italy truly appeals in all four seasons, and its Turano Valley offers timeless escapes for nature lovers.

The Turano Valley is just an hour and a half from Rome

In summer Lazio is a huge draw with its coastal towns and beaches but many visitors, especially those seeking nature’s quiet rhythms, authenticity and slower-paced travel, discover there are charming inland towns and villages to explore. Like in the Turano Valley, which is just an hour and a half from Rome in the province of Rieti, and invites travelers to slow down and immerse themselves in a world of scenic paths, authentic traditions, and charming small towns.

Solar-powered eco-friendly cruises on Lake Tora

One is Castel di Tora, which is perched dramatically above Lake Turano, a lovely medieval village that clings to a rocky promontory, with postcard-perfect views in every direction. Its old alleyways climb pas stone houses to the central square where locals gather, and the little Church of San Giovanni Evangelista. Its biggest attraction is the lake, which is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and for outings on the new eco-friendly cruises aboard the solar-powered Thiora boat. This offers narrated cruises, sunset aperitifs and educational tours year-round and is a refreshing way to rediscover the lake’s beauty, myths, and biodiversity. On June 21-22 and June 28 Casel di Tora will host the Turano Blues Festival which will echo across the lake, attracting lovers of music.

Traditional wild boar ragu pasta and family-run B&Bs

Just ten kilometres away Paganico Sabino is another charming hill town. The Grotto Trail winds through woodlands and rocky outcrops, revealing natural caverns like the Sotterra and Ronoriu, once rustic shelters and now open to visitors. Paganico also delights food lovers with traditional dishes like pettole (small fried dough balls), pasta with wild boar ragù, and local cheeses. There are also many guesthouses and family-run B&Bs in and around the town.

Collalto Sabino has an annual pilgrimage every 24 June

Further along the valley, Collalto Sabino, officially one of Italy’s “Most Beautiful Villages”, is encircled by Medieval walls, with cobbled streets and mountain views. Its Monte San Giovanni in Fistola Trail leads to the ruins of a Medieval church and a Roman sanctuary, which is honored every year during the annual June 24 pilgrimage that turns the quiet hilltop into a stage where past and present meet.  Culinary traditions here lean toward grilled meats, lentils from nearby Santo Stefano, and handmade pasta dishes with truffles and prized porcini mushrooms. More than enough to satisfy even the most demanding of gourmets.
