The German Precise Hotels Group is to open its 2nd Italian hotel, the Precise Tale Poggio alla Sala Resort in Montepulciano, in May.

The property, acquired by Precise Hotels in July 2021 for €6.5 million, will become part of the German group's Precise Tale collection, says consultancy firm Thrends. The hotel was built on the remains of a former 18th century estate and consists of five buildings on more than 34,000 sqm.
Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala will have 91 keys, an indoor and three outdoor pools
The Capex investment, for the repositioning of what will be the Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala and its expansion from 51 to 91 rooms (including 19 suites), is thought to be around €6.6 million. The resort will also have a spa with a heated indoor pool and sauna, as well as three outdoor pools, a fitness room, a restaurant and a bar.
The Precise Hotels Group has 18 hotels and resorts
Precise Hotels currently has a portfolio of 18 owned hotels and resorts in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Italy. The group made its Italian debut in December last year with the Precise House Montaperti Siena: a 95-room four-star hotel in Asciano.
