The Cortona Jazz Festival returns for its 7th edition from 22 to 25 October.
Eight evening concerts with leading jazz musicians
These four days of quality music in the ancient Tuscan Etruscan town, will feature events in the Centro Convegni Sant'Agostino which becomes a laboratory for musical exchange, while the Teatro Signorelli will host two concerts a day, for a total of eight evenings. The performers will be some of the great stars of world jazz, young talents and brilliant Italian musicians including Francesco Bigoni, Francesco Diodati, Francesco Ponticelli, Enrico Zanisi and Enrico Morello.
A gourmet dinner at the Villa di Piazzano
The festival has become a benchmark for the world jazz scene also thanks to collaborations with prestigious institutions like the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique AMR in Geneva and the New School of Jazz. For the occasion the 5-star Villa di Piazzano will offer an exclusive package combining jazz and wellness that includes a stay in elegant, panoramic rooms and two tickets for a concert at the Cortona Jazz Festival. The stay can be complemented with a gourmet dinner for two with Tuscan and Sardinian inspiration (drinks not included) at the hotel restaurant L'Antica Casina di Caccia. The historic residence stands in the hills on the border between Tuscany and Umbria.
