Enhancing the level of accessibility

Aeroporti di Roma has signed a partnership with Be My Eyes, a company that connects blind and visually impaired people with sighted volunteers and companies via live video and artificial intelligence. Fiumicino airport is thus further enhancing the level of accessibility through cutting-edge technology to support blind and visually impaired passengers, guaranteeing them a more inclusive travel experience, even when they re travelling independently.

Personalized support at the touch of a button.

By integrating Be My Eyes' Service ConnectTM platform into its accessibility services, blind and visually impaired travellers can access real-time assistance using an integrated advanced artificial intelligence service and dedicated agents via the Be My Eyes app. Whether it's finding their way around the terminal, getting flight information or locating services, passengers can now receive immediate and personalized support at the touch of a button.
