All Nippon Airways direct Tokyo Haneda to Milan flights in 2024-25

By Thursday, 08 February 2024 10:33

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has confirmed the commencement of direct flights between Tokyo Haneda and Milan Malpensa in winter 2024-2025.

Boosting European routes and frequencies

In the fiscal year 2024-2025 ANA plans to introduce three new routes connecting Tokyo with three European cities (Milan, Stockholm, and Istanbul) and will also reinstate or expand services on existing routes. This strategic move aligns with the renewed demand for travel in Japan following the pandemic. With the resumption of services between Tokyo Haneda and Vienna in August, the total count of ANA's European routes will increase to nine from the current five, and additional flights to Munich and Paris will be introduced in July.

Committed to resuming international routes

“In the next financial year, the focus of our growth will be on international flights,- said president and CEO Koji Shibata. - We are committed to resuming international routes that were temporarily halted during the pandemic and launching flights to new destinations. With the inclusion of AirJapan, we now boast three distinct brands, providing passengers with diverse options to meet their travel requirements.”
