Two 5-stars and a winery

The Fontanelle Estate brand comprises the 5-star Hotel Le Fontanelle,which this year marks its twentieth anniversary, the 5-star The Club House and the Vallepicciola winery.
The vision of the Bolfo family
Fontanelle Estate is built around the identity of one of the most iconic Italian wine regions. At the heart of the project lies the vision of the Bolfo family, who have successfully developed an ecosystem that brings together hospitality, wine, gastronomy and wellbeing, offering guests an authentic immersion in Tuscany. In the hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Le Fontanelle and The Club House are two complementary interpretations of luxury hospitality. The rooms and suites in the Hotel Le Fontanelle have terracotta floors, wooden beams and views over the Sienese hills, while Villa Il Mandorlo is an elegant residence to be enjoyed as an exclusive annexe that welcomes guests to its 36 rooms and suites.
The Clb House is for adults only
Opened in 2022 and converted from an old farmhouse, The Club House is an adults-only experience reserved for a limited number of guests. With its 15 rooms and suites, it is designed for those seeking privacy and highly personalised service, and there is also wellness oasis. Both properties offer a range of exclusive experiences, ranging from wine tours to cookery classes, and from Vespa or Ferrari tours to hot-air balloon flights over the Chianti hills. In both hotels time slows down, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in the local area and discover the true essence of Tuscany.

A Michelin-starred restaurant
The Fontanelle Estate brand’s gastronomic offering is helmd by Executive Chef Francesco Ferrettini and the highlight of this journey is Il Visibìlio, the Michelin-starred restaurant in The Club House. Then there is La Colonna at Hotel Le Fontanelle, where tradition is reinterpreted with elegance, and the Osteria Il Tuscanico at The Club House, which celebrates the most authentic and convivial spirit of Tuscany. Rounding off these experience are the areaas dedicated to aperitifs and relaxation.
The winemaking heart of the estate
The Vallepicciola winery is the winemaking heart of the Fontanelle Estate brand. Set in vineyards, olive groves, woods and beside a natural lake, the estate reflects the Bolfo family’s deep connection to the land and a vision rooted in respect for nature and biodiversity. This modern winery, designed by architect Margherita Gozzi, blends harmoniously into the Sienese countryside and welcomes guests on a journey that takes them from the vineyard to the bottle. Through guided tours and tastings, visitors can discover a range that now comprises 17 labels conveying the authentic character of Chianti Classico.
