The weather is mild in spring
In April the climate is already mild and the lively town of Merano comes alive with events throughout the month, from Easter to the flower festival. Floral decorations and a horse parade

On 6 April 2026, Easter Monday, the Haflinger horses anticipate the traditional race at the Merano Racecourse with an evocative parade through the streets of the town centre, accompanied by bands and folk groups, entertainment and gastronomy. Health takes centre stage from 18 to 19 April 2026 at the 14th edition of Yoga Meeting Merano with seminars and meetings taking place at the Kurhaus and other outdoor venues. From 23 to 26 April 2026, it is the turn of the Merano Flower Festival with floral installations and creations that will transform the town's flower beds into multicoloured masterpieces.
