An ancient fortress steeped in history

Restored to its ancient glory
Further archaeological research has revealed even older origins, including a Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Teti, a hermitage of Gregorian monks and, later, the foundations of the Church of San Pietro, dating back to the Middle Ages. The restoration was as ambitious as it was meticulous. Guided by the original drawings and historical documentation, a group of craftsmen brought all the architectural details back to life with extraordinary care and precision.
Just an hour’s drive from Assisi
The estate is set in a four-hectare oasis, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards with views stretching as far as Assisi, and is about 20 kilometres or around half an hour away by car. Castello di Procopio has eight bedrooms with private bathrooms, each uniquely furnished, which can accommodate up to sixteen people. From the reception hall to the intimate library and the lounge with bar, the atmosphere is warm and refined.
