Saturday and Sunday walking tours
Just 16 kilometres from Uve Rooms & Wine Bar the town of Alba can be reached in a quarter of an hour by car or comfortably by electric bike, through vineyards stretching across the hills. Alba is a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, and you can take a walking tour of the most important buildings in Roman-era centre, from the Cathedral of San Lorenzo to the Romanesque-Gothic church of San Domenico and the Baroque complex of the Church of the Maddalena. You’ll stroll along Via Cavour, past the Loggia dei Mercanti, through Piazza Pertinace and its Roman excavations, all the way to the Church of San Giovanni. The tours take place on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings from April to August, led by a bilingual guide in Italian and English, and are fully accessible and pet-friendly (with the exception of places of worship.)
