Great wines and events in the province of Alessandria from May to August will celebrate the region in many of its towns.
Golosaria among the castles of Monferrato
Over 30 municipalities, five castles and many locations will be involved in this 19th edition. The event featuring artisans of taste, local wineries, outdoor and cultural experiences in the Monferrato area will kick off in May with “Golosaria among the castles of Monferrato,” an authentic celebration of the area.
Dolci Terre di Primavera 2025
In May Novi Ligure will host the long-awaited 2025 edition of Dolci Terre di Primavera from 16-18 May. This important event will take place in the historic centre and feature the best of local, regional and international food and wine. A rich programme featuring food from around the world, local specialities, accompanied by great wines. And with shows, music and entertainment for a festival that involves the whole town!
Paesi e Sapori in Ovada
In May, Ovada will host the 2025 edition of Paesi e Sapori” on 17 and 18 May, a unique celebration of food and wine traditions. This journey through the authentic flavours of the area with s shows, music and activities for young and old will enliven the event, transforming it into a veritable Piazza dei Sapori (Square of Flavours). The stars of the show will be the products of the “ORI project”, accompanied by the famous Ovada DOCG wine!
Assaggia Tortona
On 23, 24 and 25 May Tortona will host the 2025 edition of Assaggia Tortona the food and wine festival dedicated to the typical flavours of the area. The stars of the show will be Tortona’s typical specialities. Along the main streets visitors will meet master restaurateurs and enjoy a refined culinary experience in the company of the King of the Land, Derthona Timorasso! But it's not just about food! There will also be fun and the pleasure of being together with this unique way to discover the flavours and charm of Tortona.
Alessandria’s Open for Culture 2025
Alessandria’s historic centre will be transformed into an open-air stage on 6, 7 and 8 June with shows, music, art, magic, illusionism and food and wine for three days of pure magic and fun. An event that brings together residents, artists and businesses to promote the area and its cultural heritage, thanks in part to the opening of renowned artistic sites.
Festival Gavi in Gavi
The 2025 edition of Gavi in Gavi is back, an unmissable event dedicated to wine and local culture! The star of the show is the renowned Gavi DOCG. The Gavi Protection Consortium will promote local wine and wineries in two events with the “Festival Di Gavi in Gavi” on Saturday 28 June: with a walk-around tasting with over 30 Gavi DOCG producers. On Saturday 28 June and Sunday 27 July the wineries of the Gavi denomination will be open to the public with a series of events and tastings.
Acqui Terme’s Wine Days
Acqui Wine Days returns to Acqui Terme on 8, 9 and 10 August! An unmissable event celebrating the wine and culture of the city with tastings, meetings and lots of fun featuring Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG and other cultural and gastronomic excellences. Music, art and culture will also accompany visitors on a unique journey for an experience that combines flavours, passion and conviviality!
