QPass, the great new service that allows passengers to enjoy an even better experience at security checkpoints, is now operative at Rome’s international airport.
A few simple online steps and no registration
Just introduced to Fiumicino Airport, the new QPass service is free and allows passengers to book an appointment at the security checkpoints and use a dedicated entrance and route. Accessing the service is simple and does not require any registration. The passenger can make the reservation from the comfort of home or at the airport, from seven days before the flight, on the website www.adr.it/qpass. All he or she has to do is enter the flight number, the number of people departing and an e-mail address.
Choosing the most suitable time
The passenger can choose from the available appointment times for his or her flight and book the one that best suits his or her needs. Once the booking is complete, they receive a QR code and a confirmation e-mail with information about the terminal and appointment time. Then all they have to do is show up at the QPass entrance of the security gate at the time of the reservation, show the QR Code and access the dedicated entrance and queue to go through the security checkpoints quickly and easily.
The new service is totally free of charge
Fiumicino is the first airport in Italy to offer this great new service, in operation at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. QPass is totally free of charge and is in addition to the other types of access to the security checkpoint: the premium Fast Track service, the Family Line, for families with prams, and the traditional security gates.
