Airport and city benefits
Among the opportunities offered by Aeroporto di Roma to Pilgrim’s Card holders are flights at affordable rates, with the option of a stopover in the Rome, which can be booked on the FlyandVisitRome. com. Other benefits are the free Q-Pass service to book appointments at security checks, access to Airport in The City which, at Roma Termini station, allows, at discounted rates, for ITA Airways flights, free check-in and luggage transport as well as a luggage storage service for all airlines.
Duty-free discounts and personal shoppers
Discounts at the Aelia Lagardere Duty Free are also included, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of the Personal Shopper service, get all the information needed about shopping inside the airport, and Book A Table to reserve a table in advance in one of the restaurants inside Rome’s Fiumicino Airport. Throughout the Jubilee year, an information desk, staffed by volunteers from the Department for Evangelization, will be available to pilgrims in the Arrivals area of Terminal 1 of the airport.
Extra night trains into Rome
Thanks to the commitment of Ferrovie dello Stato and the Lazio Region, from 2024 all passengers arriving at Fiumicino will have the option of travelling to the capital at night, with the addition of two extra Leonardo Express trains connecting the airport with Roma Termini Station. On the same route 128 trains already operate daily, in addition to the direct Frecciarossa trains (3 departures and 3 arrivals), to and from Naples, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Padua and Venice.
A cycle path to explore the airport area
To boost the integration of Fiumicino Airport with the surrounding area, in January ADR inaugurated the new Pedalaria 3.5-kilometre cycle path will be used not only by workers and the airport community, but also by pilgrims who want to explore the cultural and natural beauty of the area around the airport. “As a partner of the 2025 Jubilee, Aeroporti di Roma is committed to offering pilgrims arriving in the capital an increasingly high-quality welcome and efficient services that focus on safety, innovation, inclusion and sustainability.
