Plenty of seating and two private areas
In addition there are 32 relaxing seats with charging facilities and four panoramic relaxation areas with sea views, designed to offer passengers a variety of ways to make use of the area as they wait. The catering area includes a bar and self-service facility, with 24 seats at tables, and a kitchen for food preparation and service. The lounge is completed by two private relaxation areas, designed to ensure greater tranquillity and privacy, dedicated toilet facilities, including areas for people with disabilities, and a shower.
Palermo among the most modern Mediterranean airports
“With the new Prima Vista lounge, Palermo Airport continues its evolution towards a new model of airport, in which infrastructure, services and the quality of the passenger experience grow hand in hand. We are introducing a new approach to airport operations that is more passenger-focused and aligned with international standards. It is another piece of the jigsaw in our strategy to position Palermo among the most modern and attractive airports in the Mediterranean,” says Gianfranco Battisti, CEO of airport management company GESAP.
Combining comfort, service and authenticity
Particular attention has been paid to environmental comfort and safety, with dedicated air-conditioning and ventilation systems, lighting, fire detection, emergency lighting and an Evac system. “This new area is a further step in the growth of the Prima Vista network in a region with a strong identity and a natural inclination towards hospitality, inspiring an area that combines comfort, service and authenticity. The lounge enhances the travellers’ experience through the flavours of the region, reflecting the richness of Sicilian culinary tradition, and offering passengers an authentic expression of local hospitality with the highest international standards,” adds Matteo Festuccia, group lounge general manager at Prima Vista Lounges by Aviapartner.
