Air Europa is once again connecting Venice with Madrid Barajas airport, with double daily flights.
Air Europa is one of the main carriers connecting Europe and the Americas
"The re-establishment of this route confirms Air Europa as one of the main carriers for connections between Europe and the Americas - says Renato Scaffidi, country manager Italy of the Spanish carrier. -We have resumed connections guaranteeing passengers departing from Venice two daily frequencies to Madrid and with onward flights in Spain and to many destinations in South and North America, including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, New York and Miami, as well as in the Caribbean such as Santo Domingo, Cuba, Mexico, Honduras and Panama".
“Italy is among the most important markets for Air Europa"
“The bookings that have already been open since last September give us very positive signals and, by 2024, we estimate to carry between 60,000 and 65,000 passengers on this route which had been very successful in the pre-Covid era. Italy’s North-East is very important for our carrier and from here, thanks to the cooperation with SAVE, we will be able to further increase the flow of passengers, once again positioning Italy among the most important markets for Air Europa."
Over 30% more seats between Venice and Madrid
"The return of Air Europa's double daily flight between Venice and Madrid increases the overall offer of seats between the two cities by more than 30%, guaranteeing greater flexibility in travel to Spain and to the rest of the intercontinental network, - says Camillo Bozzolo, commercial director aviation SAVE Group. -From Madrid the network to the main Latin American capitals will allow us to top 250,000 passengers per year to South America, surpassing the historical record of 2019. These flights will boost economic ties as well as tourist flows to and from our catchment area.”
