Full steam ahead for Turin Airport, which has stepped up summer operations, and is preparing for the winter 2026/27 season.

2.4 million passengers January-May 2026

The airport, which handled 2.4 million passengers in the first five months of 2026, including over 982,000 between April and May - a 19% increase over the same two months in 2025, is now entering the heart of the summer season.

New routes and increased frequencies

Summer 2026 is set to be the most extensive ever for Caselle Airport: 54 destinations served, a 6% increase over summer 2025, 24 countries connected and 4.2 million seats on sale across the entire network, of which over 800,000 are additional compared to the 2025 summer season.  “Summer 2026 confirms Turin Airport’s ability to develop an increasingly extensive range of affordable, well-structured connections that meet the region’s mobility needs, - says Andrea Andorno, CEO of Turin Airport.  -The expansion of the network, the introduction of new routes and the increase in frequencies consolidate the airport’s role as a strategic infrastructure serving Piedmont, both for leisure travel and for connections to major international hubs.”

Ryanair, Wizz Air and Air Baltic are all adding new routes

And looking ahead to the coming winter season, there is certainly no shortage of new developments, particularly on the international front: with the new winter 2026-27 schedule coming into effect at the end of October, new flights will take off from Budapest (Ryanair, from 25 October); Madrid (Wizz Air, from 25 October); Bratislava (Ryanair, from 26 October); Málaga (Wizz Air, from 26 October); Bilbao (Vueling, from 26 October); Warsaw (Ryanair, from 31 October); Glasgow (Ryanair, from 12 December); and Riga (Air Baltic, from 30 January 2027).
