A revamped style and 97 lodges and suites
The Romagna-based Club del Sole has undergone a significant makeover, focusing on eco-friendly materials, predominantly utilising wood and stone. The 97 lodges and suites, offering sea views, will replace the previous mobile homes and the old camping area of the village. The accommodation transitions from darker shades near the pine forest to gradually lighter tones closer to the sea.
Four-legged friends are welcome
The Pineta Beach Village aims to be more than just a gathering or entertainment venue. It aspires to be a holiday model that imparts a unique sense of well-being. Notable enhancements include a solarium-equipped swimming pool and a gourmet restaurant. Additionally, a dedicated fitness area will cater to enthusiasts, while a specially designed play area will entertain younger guests. Consistent with all Club del Sole establishments, special provisions, including a swimming pool and a designated walking area, will be made for four-legged friends.
A new hospitality format
Angelo Cartelli, general manager of Club del Sole
“The ongoing investments to completely transform the Pineta Beach Village and its concept align with our new hospitality format, Full Life Holidays, emphasising the fusion of comfort and nature,” says Angelo Cartelli, general manager of Club del Sole. “Every aspect of this village's renovation has been meticulously planned, from the external to internal finishes of the new lodges, reflecting the chromatic progression of the two natural elements of the beach village: the pine forest and the sea.”

A special location with a panoramic view
Situated in Cernobbio’s charming square, Harry's Bar enjoys a special location with a panoramic view of the lake and has preserved its timeless charm. In 2009 the bar came under the ownership of three Como entrepreneurs: Francesco Ugoni, Giuseppe Mantero, and Riccardo Marazzi. They aimed to preserve the establishment's essence - a blend of elegance, hospitality, and high-level cuisine.
Upholding the traditions of a unique venue
The menu at Harry's Bar highlights typical Italian dishes crafted from fresh ingredients, often sourced locally, and draw inspiration from Italian and Milanese traditions, with an added touch of international flair.
With the recent acquisition by Villa d'Este, the goal is to uphold the establishment's traditions and concept, while introducing innovations that respect its storied past. “We are very happy to now also include Harry's Bar within our group,- said Villa d’Este chairman, Giuseppe Fontana. -It is our firm belief that working to maintain the DNA and the classic style of this venue, while keeping an eye on the future, is something that will help consolidate its success and maintain it over time.”

The Via dei Monti dating back to the 14th century as a trade route between Levanto and Lunigiana, facilitated both land and sea trade towards the Po Valley. Now the Il Cigno Consortium, in collaboration with local municipalities and associations has upgraded the Levanto-Brugnato stretch of the religious path.
Recovering the ancient route
Subsequently the recovery of the ancient route extending to Pontremoli, intersecting the Via Francigena, was completed with contributions from local institutions and banks. Covering 65% of Liguria and extending into Tuscany, the route attracts tourists from the Cinque Terre coast to the hinterland. The promotion and enhancement of religious and sacred paths in Italy is gaining significance in anticipation of the Rome 2025 Holy Jubilee.
