Two of Italy’s most authentic and inspiring regions – Emilia Romagna and Marche – open their doors once again to a selected group of international buyers for a unique FAM TRIP combining discovery, emotion, and opportunity.
From the golden beaches of Rimini to the karst wonders of the Frasassi Caves, this immersive journey offers a rich blend of art, nature, gastronomy, wellness and history, while creating space for meaningful encounters with Italian DMCs, travel companies and local organisations.
Our trip starts on October 7 with a warm welcome in Rimini and a special dinner at Castello Benelli, offered by the city of Messina, a guest destination that will surprise you with its Mediterranean charm.
Over the next days, participants will explore the vibrant cultural and natural landscape of Romagna – famous for its hospitality, cuisine and lively coastal towns – before heading into the heart of the Marche region, a land of gentle hills, hidden villages and artistic heritage.
THE PROGRAMME
7 October – Arrival at Bologna Airport and transfer to Rimini. Free time. Evening transfer to Castello Benelli for a dinner offered by the City of Messina. Return to the hotel.
8 October – Morning professional visits to the Ferretti Group hotels, lunch included. Afternoon free time before the 5:30 pm transfer for the workshop with Italian DMCs and inbound organizations. Dinner and overnight stay.
9 October – Breakfast followed by a meeting with Emilia Romagna DMCs. Lunch, and in the afternoon guided tour of the historic centre of Rimini. Dinner and overnight.
10 October – After breakfast guided tour of San Marino. Lunch of local specialities in Santarchangelo di Romagna. In the afternoon departure for Gradara one of the most fascinating medieval villages in Italy, famous for its imposing, perfectly preserved fortress, but also the scene of the tragic love story between Paolo and Francesca, immortalized by Dante in the Divine Comedy. Dinner and overnight to Lindberg Hotel Pesaro.
11 October – After breakfast departure for Pesaro the birthplace of the famous composer Gioachino Rossini. Lunch and departure for Genga and the Frasassi Caves area, hotel check-in and free time. Evening presentation of Genga and the Frasassi Caves followed by dinner. Overnight stay.
12 October – Full-day visits in the Frasassi Caves area, including the famous caves. Lunch included. Afternoon free time. Dinner and overnight stay.
13 October – Transfer to Bologna Airport, Ancona Airport or Perugia Airport
