To mark the 2025 Holy Jubilee Year FIPTES, Italian Federation of Experiential Tourism Professionals is organizing the pilgrimage “I Cammini Sulle Orme della Fede a Roma” (The Paths in the Footsteps of Faith in Rome).
This extraordinary event of spirituality, walking and sharing is open to all those who wish to live an intense experience of faith, culture and participation. A journey through places linked to devotion to St. Michael the Archangel, together with the Committee of the Way of St. Michael the Archangel, there will be moments of history, stories and curiosities about the figure of the Archangel and his connection with Rome.Through the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica
The initiative is organized in collaboration with: Inforidea Idee in Movimento, the Committee of the Way of St. Michael the Archangel, the Committee of the Via Romea Imperiale, FederCammini, Federcomtur, and the GAL Lazio side of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. The heart of the event will be the Jubilee Pilgrimage on foot, starting from Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and arriving at St. Peter's Square, where pilgrims will pass through the Holy Door and participate in Holy Mass presided over by Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, Archpriest of the Vatican Basilica and Vicar General for the Vatican City.

Saturday 24 May 2025 8:30 a.m. – Gathering at Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Visit to the Basilica and veneration of the relic of the Holy Cross. Stop at the Holy Stairs and the Basilica of St. John Lateran. Stop at the Campidoglio and the Church of Sant'Angelo in Peschiera where we will have theBlessing of St. Michael the Archangel imparted by Father Ermete. Walk along Via del Pellegrino. The Consular routes and the bike route
Preceding and converging with the main pilgrimage, six Consular Routes will be organized, starting from various symbolic points along the Consular Roads of Rome. There will also be a bike ride starting from Ostia, combining sport, nature and faith in a rejuvenating journey to the spiritual heart of Rome. The event is a very significant opportunity for walkers, families, young people and religious communities to experience the 2025 Jubilee together through a symbolic and real journey that connects sacred places, spiritual memories and the collective energy of those who seek in faith an opportunity for rebirth and encounter.
