Innovation, sustainability and glamorous furnishings
The architectural concept of the complex, which has been designed to accommodate Italian and international students and young professionals, has been entrusted to Rizoma Architetture, which has sought to combine the characteristics of innovation and sustainability inspired by the most advanced international student housing operators with the original forms of the industrial complex. All enriched by glamorous furnishings with a strong Made in Italy imprint.

The rooms will be a combination of modern, grunge and design
The former Manifattura Tabacchi is a historical complex of great importance for the city and the project is part of the profound regeneration process of the Bicocca district, with the university, foundations and large cultural and commercial spaces as driving factors. The philosophy behind the construction of the various Cx Places is inspired by respect for a district's identity and a spirit of integration with the locals. All the rooms will therefore be a combination of modern, grunge and at the same time glamorous styles, with design elements that will be the common thread running through the entire structure. The furnishings, both in the rooms and in the common areas, have been designed to convey the idea of an underground yet sophisticated environment that can stimulate socializing, working and sharing ideas.
The new Hotel Brun has 22 rooms
From the renovation of a historic building, the Brun Hotel is the third Bologna property of the Monrif Group. The name of the new hotel is a tribute to the Grand Hotel Brun, which was considered the most prestigious hotel in the city until its closure after World War II. The Hotel Brun has four levels with the lobby and the breakfast and bar area on the ground floor, while the upper floors house the rooms: six deluxe single rooms, nine deluxe double rooms, three junior suites with a living room and double bathroom, and four attic junior suites on the top floor.
