Unahotels One Siracusa has two new robotic F&B resources: Dinerbot T5 and Butlerbot W3, better known as Lola and Leonard.
The robots will collaborate with restaurant and reception staff
Dinerbot T5 will complement the Akademia Restaurant's service with runner functions: waiters will set options according to their needs, and Lola will help them collect hot dishes from the kitchen and clear the table once the meal is finished. Leonard, on the other hand, will be able to walk the corridors of the facility and, independently, call the lift and get to his room. The robot can also alert guests by calling their rooms, sending phone messages and alerting staff at reception.
“AI will increase the workflow in our Sicilian property”
This dual innovation is the result of a partnership between the Una Group and Keenon, a company specializing in advanced technology and AI. "Our company is constantly striving to implement services in hotels that offer guests the best comforts," says general manager, Fabrizio Gaggio. "This is why we have chosen to integrate two AIs to support the staff of Unahotels One Siracusa, bringing a note of innovation and increasing the efficiency and workflow within the Sicilian property. We will continue to study new ways to make the working environment easier and safer." The group's Sicilian hotel is the first in Italy and the third in Europe to implement its services with intelligent unmanned delivery solutions.
