CDSHotels celebrates three new properties in Sicily and Calabria.
A historic stately home
The first property, Baglio Basile, in Petrosino, opened on 26 March. Situated between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, this historic stately home retains the charm of 19th-century architecture In the warmer months guests can enjoy the swimming pool and the sea, with a beach set in an unspoiled setting.
Calabria blends nature, history and imagination
CDSHotels Ninfe Saracene
Following this first opening, CDSHotels’ spring programme will continue in May with Ninfe Saracene, a new destination in Le Castella, on the Ionian coast of Calabria. Ninfe Saracene's furnishings, finishes, overall atmosphere and cuisine are reminiscent of the Eastern Mediterranean, and with the Aragonese Fortress, the golden sandy beach and the Capo Rizzuto Marine Protected Area, holidays reveal a Calabria that blends nature, history and imagination.
Exploring Western Sicily and Marsala

At the end of May it will be the turn of Delfino Beach in Marsala, overlooking the sea of Western Sicily. But Delfino Beach is not defined solely by its relationship with the sea: it is also a natural starting point for exploring the cultural landscape of Marsala and its surroundings. With Baglio Basile already open and Ninfe Saracene and Delfino Beach set to open, CDSHotels marks the start of the 2026 season with three new openings that expand the story of Southern Italy through diverse yet complementary destinations.
