The new Botanica Spa has opened in the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina.
Saunas and Turkish baths
The new spa is reached by crossing the hotel's gardens and swimming pool and includes an indoor pool, women's sauna and Turkish bath, men's sauna and Turkish bath and five treatment cabins, including one for couples.
The gardens play a leading role
Botanica’s beauty and wellness rituals are a mix of molecular aesthetics and herbal science: an aromatic journey that involves each guest in an experience of harmony and aesthetics. Just as in the past monks tended the gardens here for medicinal and officinal purposes, today the gardens play a leading role in the hospitality of the San Domenico Palace, inspiring the names of the spa cabins: Zagara (from the citrus garden), Jasmine (from the ancient cloister), Hibiscus (from the Belvedere garden), Jacaranda (from the Belvedere and Ingrid gardens) and Kenzia (from the ancient cloister).
Facial and body rituals
To create a personalized experience exclusively for hotel guests, Botanica also welcomes the facial-body rituals of two famous top brands: Barbara Sturm and Gerard's. Botanica's signature treatment is the San Domenico Palace: a Sicilian holistic massage. Among the body rituals the spa offers Stromboli, Etna, Taormina and Naxos: a new journey through the beauty of the essence of Sicily. The new Botanica Spa is open to hotel guests and outside guests by appointment only.
