The first Italian W Hotel opened its doors a few days ago in Rome. The W Hotel Rome which has 162 rooms in two adjacent 19th-century buildings is located near the Spanish Steps. The property is owned by alternative investment firm King Street Capital Management in partnership with developer Omnam Investment Group, and Italian asset management company Kryalos sgr.
Michelin-starred chef Ciccio Sultano
Designed by Meyer Davis, the W Rome Hotel is a blend of traditional Roman architecture and a unique interpretation of the capital’s design. The Giano Restaurant, under Michelin-starred chef Ciccio Sultano, has a menu combining Sicilian and Roman traditions. The property also has a courtyard and a Giardino Clandestino clandestine garden, which will undoubtedly become a new city landmark.
A rooftop bar, gym and boutique
Pastry chef Fabrizio Fiorani heads the in-house pastry shop Zucchero while other features are the W lounge on the ground floor, a rooftop terrace with the Otto Rooftop bar, the Fuel x Petra Studio Gym managed by Pietro Boselli and the W The Store boutique curated by Daria Reina.
