CdsHotels posts a €49.5 million turnover, 66% higher than 2019

CdsHotels posted a €49.5 million turnover in 2022, a 39% increase over 2021, but more importantly, a +66% increase over the pre-Covid 2019 year.

“A significant contribution to the expansion of our turnover is undoubtedly due to the entry into our portfolio of the Sicilian CdsHotels Terrasini - Città del Mare, which has increased our portfolio by 800 rooms, boosting to an already positive trend,- says commercial director of CdsHotels Ada Miraglia. - Having such a large hotel meant a constant effort to ensure high occupancy throughout the season, so we are proud of the results. While the rise in costs eroded a large portion of income, this motivated us to face 2023 with renewed vigour. We opened sales in October and already have a very encouraging forecast of around +49% compared to 2021.”

Special sporting weeks and vintage car events

For 2023 CdsHotels has a rich calendar of special weeks dedicated to sports activities with football, tennis, volleyball and swimming schools as well as a boy-scout week, a fitness week, and a vintage week with tours in vintage cars as prizes. The company has also signed a preferential partnership with Grandi Navi Veloci, in addition to the one signed last year with Tirrenia, to facilitate connections with the Sicilian hotels.

Quality catering, sports and wellness are cornerstones of the CdsHotels' strategy

CdsHotels has seven villages and five hotels in Puglia and Sicily and plans to expand to other seaside areas of Italy beginning with Calabria and Sardinia.

“We have been looking for hotels that can meet the criteria that distinguish us: in addition to a privileged position on the sea, we want areas for quality catering, as well as to sports, wellness, and fun for the entire family, especially in our villages,” added commercial director of CdsHotels.

CdsHotels is present at all the major trade fairs and participates in workshops and other promotional activities aimed at the Italian and international markets. Some 69% of CdsHotels' customers are Italian, with Lombardy, Lazio, and Campania leading the way, while the remaining 31% are international guests. In recent years there has been a significant recovery particularly from the German, French, UK and Swiss markets.
