Yescapa, Europe's leading camper-sharing platform, offers beautiful Italian villages for breaks with a camper van.

Asolo in Veneto is packed with art and history

Asolo, Framura, Penne, Bovino and Bosa, five hidden gems from the north to the south of Italy, embody the authenticity and charm of small towns and offer camper van breaks.  Asolo, in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region, is a natural and historical treasure trove of art and culture. With archaeological sites and interesting architecture, rising between the Veneto plain and the hilly area of the Pre-Alps, it is ideal for those who love long walks,  art and culture, and for anyone who wants to discover the best food and wines. Where to park a camper van: there is a municipal area with a bar and access for 13 campers, equipped with water, electricity, lighting, barbecue facilities and picnic tables.

Five tiny hamlets in Liguria linked by a steep stairway

Framura in the province of La Spezia, on the Riviera Ligure di Levante, gives its name to the five hamlets of which the municipality is composed - Anzo, Castagnola, Costa, Ravecca and Setta - linked by a steep stairway and paths ideal for sports and trekking enthusiasts. Framura is also connected to Bonassola and Levanto along a five kilometre-long cycle and pedestrian path. Where to stay with a  camper van: there is a parking area with around 30 places by the sea and near the centre. From here Framura can also be easily reached on foot or by bike thanks to the new flat cycle path.

pennePenne

Penne in Abruzzo is famous for its bricks

Penne in the province of Pescara in Abruzzo, known as the “city of bricks,” boasts a very ancient history, and the village today is lively while retaining all its historical atmosphere, with a succession of crisscrossing narrow streets, fine palaces, medieval monuments and churches. For nature lovers, a visit to the nature reserve not far from the town, with numerous hiking trails and an artificial lake, is a must. Where to park your camper van: in the square in front of the multistorey car park in Via Francesco Verrotti.

Bovino Bovino

Bovino, a beautiful coastal town in Puglia

Bovino in Puglia, in the province of Foggia, is a town where time seems to stand still, nestled in the Monti Dauni, amidst woods and streams, dominating the Cervaro valley with its Ducal Castle.  The historical centre of Bovino is the custodian of ancient buildings such as the Cathedral and the Civic Museum, and being located along the road that connects Naples with Puglia, it is ideal for those wishing to explore the beauty and coastline of the two regions.  Where to stay in a camper van: the area has several open-air sites suitable for campers, caravanners and tents.

Bosa, where Sardinian traditions blend with modernity

Bosa in Sardinia, in the province of Oristano, is a picturesque village on the banks of the Temo, Sardinia's only navigable river. It boasts a medieval quarter, with tradition and modernity blending together, and infusing it with charm. It is an unmissable stop for those visiting the west coast of Sardinia. Where to park your camper van: just one kilometre from the beach at Bosa Marina, the Camper Service in Via dei Falegnami is open from Monday to Saturday, and has loading and unloading services.
