A new 5-star luxury Rocco Forte hotel is to be built in the Fasano area, on the site of the former Relais del Cardinale.
Further enhancing s scenic part of Puglia
The project is being carried out by a temporary consortium led by Impredo and is owned by Pgim, an international investment fund, and Re.vo, a property holding company while the hotel management will be entrusted to Rocco Forte Hotels. This is a major development for the high-end hospitality sector in Puglia, a region that is already highly attractive to international tourists. The new facility aims to boost the region’s luxury accommodation availability, enhancing an area of particular scenic and tourist interest in Southern Italy.
A fast-growing consortium
Impredo and Pigroup are also working to finalize further projects across Italy, with the aim of consolidating their position in the Italian construction market and in large-scale infrastructure projects. The Fasano project is therefore a significant step both for the consortium’s growth and for strengthening investment in the luxury tourism sector in Puglia.
Boosting the luxury hospitality sector
Enrico Danesi of Dekus, the development partner for the project, commented: “We are proud to breathe new life into the former Relais del Cardinale, a project that fits into an already highly prestigious landscape and brings hospitality of the very highest standard to Puglia. Enhancing Italy’s hospitality heritage whilst respecting its regional identity is a guiding principle of our approach to property development.” “The Fasano project combines the vision of Pgim, Re.vo and Dekus with the expertise of Rocco Forte Hotels in the luxury sector which we will further strengthen thanks, in part, to Lmdv Capital’s investment in our capital,” adds Daniele D’Orazio of Impredo.
