VisitRimini, the official DMC of the city of Rimini, has launched the “Do you really think you know Rimini?” promotional campaign.

A campaign aimed at over one million unique users

“Do you really think you know Rimini?” is the claim of the campaign that inaugurates a targeted promotional strategy for Rimini in 2025. The TV commercial will be accompanied by a digital campaign aimed at a wide and diverse audience, reaching over one million unique users through social media campaigns and programmatic advertising.

“A journey to discover a new Rimini”

The aim is to promote Rimini as a tourist destination 365 days a year, overcoming stereotypes and revealing its authentic face. “We want to take viewers on a journey to discover a new Rimini, with a redeveloped seafront, a historic centre with unique charm and a dual seaside and cultural soul,-  says Coralie Delaubert, destination manager of VisitRimini. -The emotional commercial is based on keywords such as hospitality, curiosity, desire and originality, to convey the essence of the city.”

Poland is a rapidly growing market for Rimini

Particular attention is being paid to foreign markets: the advert, available in Italian and English, is aimed at travellers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe and Poland, the latter now one of the areas of greatest interest for Rimini. A central role in the digital strategy is entrusted to programmatic advertising as well as social promotion on platforms with a wide audience such as Google and YouTube. Targeted campaigns will also feature in the areas served by Rimini airport and on international rail connections, the aim being to encourage inbound tourism and boost the connection with the surrounding area.

Promoting Rimini to leisure and MICE buyers and operators

“VisitRimini also continues its commitment to promoting the destination at a B2B level: in 2024 alone, more than 1,200 meetings were held with buyers and tour operators in the leisure and MICE sectors, boosting the city's position on the international tourism scene. VisitRimini is a trusted partner, offering not only the classic seaside holiday experience, but also culture, art, food and wine, wellness and sport.”
