Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, in Cortina d'Ampezzo, adds five new elegant Tofane Suites and a Penthouse Suite.
The new suites are on two levels
The new suites, which are between 50 and 80 sqm in surface area, opened on 7 December coinciding with the winter opening of the hotel. On two levels, they feature a large living area with comfortable sofas and dining tables, two double bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms with showers and freestanding baths. The historic larch boiserie and ceilings were restored by Flaviano Capriotti Architetti.
The spa has a semi-Olympic pool and a caldarium
From the Penthouse Suite in the central body of the hotel there are views of the historic 1956 Olympic ski jump. The furniture coexists harmoniously with design pieces from some of the most famous Italian brands and the living area leads to a large dressing room. The spa has a 25-metre semi-Olympic swimming pool, a calidarium, internal and external Vitality pool, a relaxation area and gym. Chef Giovanni Gagliardo proposes a gastronomic journey fusing together local tradition and Mediterranean culture. At the centre of his cuisine are ingredients from small local producers many of which are lesser known and eco-sustainable ingredients.
